At the end of 2011, the company operated 280 stores in the Czech Republic - 1 more than last year - and 23 fuel stations. In 2011, the company remodeled, relocated or expanded 27 stores. In Slovakia, the company operated 26 stores and 7 fuel stations. In 2011, Other Europe achieved an operating profit during each quarter of the year. The program Albert Hypernova started in 2009 to improve its commercial proposition, restructure, take costs out of the business, and move to a single brand in the Czech Republic has enabled the company to increase profitability.
