To maintain and broaden global investor interests in Ahold, and to
support its listings on various stock exchanges, Ahold held regular
presentations in a number of European and US cities in the course
of the year. Also in 1995, European financial analysts visited
Jerónimo Martins Retail, Ahold's joint venture in Portugal, to
become better acquainted with the latest developments in the
market. On the occasion of the publication of the annual and half-
year financial statements, Ahold in 1995 once again held meetings
for financial analysts of various banks and stockbroking firms.
December 22,1995, Ahold shares began trading on the Brussels
Stock Exchange.
